If you feel you are not improving in the language you started studying, although you are motivated and have goals in mind, if you do not fully know whether a certain learning method is suited to you, or if you find it difficult to maintain motivation, please come and visit the OU Multilingual Plaza. You can browse dictionaries and other self-study materials in the 25 languages offered for foreign language majors at Osaka University. You can also participate in conversation practice.
We also provide advising on language learning by specialists. We have advisors on foreign language learning in general. Advisors on Japanese language learning for international students are available as well. By speaking to an advisor, you may understand your current learning style more objectively and discover how you can improve.
Advising on foreign language learning in general is offered on Thursday mornings.
Advising on Japanese language learning is at service on Tuesday afternoons.
